The staff are friendly and usually very busy. The portions are excellent. The cod, scampi and chips are delicious. They know which ship caught and landed their fish, a lot don't or don't advertise it. They fry in beef dripping which can only help the taste. Their prices are comparable with other local childhood of similar quality and the quality is high. What's not to like.

Cooked to order and delicious tasting. I usually have the haddock and chips. Good sized fish and plenty of chips just how I like them. Pricier than some spots but well worth the extra cost.
